Jenni here, and I can’t believe that it’s already August and summer has flown by! It’s been a great summer for the EALS Committee, and we’re ecstatic to have announced earlier this week that the Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium, the official kick-off to Arts Advocacy Day, will be at the Katzen Arts Center on March 6, 2016!
We’re all so excited to bring you an amazing Symposium this year. Our plans are more ambitious and farther reaching than ever before, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our speakers, panelists, and attendees, both past and present. It is an absolute honor for us to look ahead to the 2016 symposium and what the next year will bring.
While we have already been busy planning for the events ahead, we know that the key to a great #EALS2016 will be hearing from YOU! We want to know what your concerns are in the art field, how you would prefer to network with other arts professionals, or even great new songs or artists to check out. With that in mind, EALS will be periodically hosting polls on various arts-related topics. These polls are meant to give us, as a committee, direction and focus on the topics and ideas that matter most to the EALS community, and to inform the panels we bring to this year’s symposium. We also welcome any ideas and suggestions, which can be left in the comments below, on our Facebook page, or you can e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here’s our first poll. Click the question to answer. LET’S GO #EALS2016!
